Born into a motorsport-loving family in New South Wales, Liam Loiacono grew up surrounded by the roar of engines and the thrill of competition. At the age of 7, he began his journey with a practice go-kart, progressing to dirt motorkhana events by 12 and tarmac track days by 14. His fascination with racing mechanics led him to maintain and upgrade a Toyota 86 race car in 2023, deepening his understanding of what drives speed and precision.
Rising Through the Ranks
Liam Loiacono's racing career took off in late 2022 when he entered the QLD State Formula Ford Championship, competing in the final two rounds. Under the guidance of BF Racing, he completed the full 2023 season and emerged as the QLD Formula Ford Champion in his rookie year.
With the unwavering support of his parents, Liam Loiacono balanced a part-time job, academic excellence, and a professional approach both on and off the track to meet the conditions for their financial backing. Along the way, he earned a Certificate 2 in Small Power Engines, reflecting his commitment to learning and growth.
In 2024, with the backing of Heli Material Handling Oceania, Liam competed in the Australian Formula Ford Series. He showcased his talent by placing 4th in the Australian Championship, 1st in the QLD Championship, and 3rd in the Victorian Championship, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the sport.

Eyes on Indy
In July, August, and November of 2024, Liam participated in six days of testing in Indianapolis, Ohio, and Alabama, USA. His impressive driving skills and fast lap times earned him a spot with Jay Howard Driver Development for the 2025 season of the USF Juniors by Continental Tire Championship. This opportunity marks the first step on the "Road to Indy" path, bringing Liam closer to achieving his ultimate dream of becoming an INDY Car driver.
